Bubble Pouches vs Bubble Roll on the Packing Line

Bubble Pouches vs Bubble Roll on the Packing Line

A jumbo bubble roll is the cheapest film per kilogram. It is not always the cheapest pack per piece. If operators cut, fold, and tape every spare, you are paying labour and wasting offcuts. Converted pouches move that work to our sealers in Peenya.

Use a roll when

  • Part sizes vary every hour (furniture, mixed industrial).
  • You already have a wrap station and trained staff.
  • Monthly volume is low and SKU count is high.

Use pouches or envelopes when

  • The inner dimension is stable (chargers, glass lenses, spare PCBs).
  • You need a lip or flap for speed.
  • Audit wants a repeatable pack, not “operator-dependent wrap”.

What to put on the RFQ

Inner length, width, bubble size, whether you need antistatic, monthly pieces, and ship-to pincode or port. MOQ is in pieces, stated on the quote. Envelopes are a lighter courier format; pouches are typically deeper bags.
