Importing Packaging Materials from India to Europe

European 3PLs and manufacturers buy film from India when price, lead time, and a plant visit beat a local converter. The work is commercial, not magical: a clear spec, a sample, and paperwork that your broker can file. We quote UK, German, Dutch, French, Italian, and Polish buyers from Peenya. We do not list CE, REACH, or food-contact marks on this site unless we can show the certificate.

Put this on the RFQ

• •Product: bubble, stretch, foam, tape, pouch — with micron or bubble size and width.
• •Monthly volume in kilograms or rolls, not “containers” without a weight.
• •Incoterm (EXW Peenya, FOB Indian port, CIF named European port).
• •Whether you need a test report against a named method.

What arrives with the load

Commercial invoice, packing list, and origin documents. Classification is suggested via the HSN we use in India; EU TARIC is your broker’s job. If a retailer demands a specific declaration we cannot sign, we will say no rather than fake it.

Lead time honesty

Production for standard SKUs is often days after confirmation; ocean transit is weeks and is not in our control. The quote separates plant lead time from freight.
